Why we build
AyVex Ltd develops products that help people make sense of complex information. Our current product work is SLYP AI, focused on NHS pay, tax and pension intelligence.
We choose tools to suit the problem. AI can help interpret varied documents; explicit software rules handle calculations that need to be repeatable and checked.
AyVex is the parent company for the products it develops. Each product has its own audience, its own requirements and, where the processing differs, its own security and privacy information. What they share are engineering, design and privacy standards set at company level.

Practical product development
We start from a problem that can be described plainly, and build what addressing it actually requires. Features earn their place by making the problem smaller.
Thoughtful engineering
Systems are built to be understood and maintained. Where a result has to be exact, it is produced by explicit rules that can be tested rather than inferred.
User-centred design
Interfaces are designed around the questions people arrive with, in their language rather than the system’s. Nothing should need a manual to interpret.
Clarity
A figure without its context is not much use. Products should show what a result is based on and explain it in terms the reader already understands.
Responsible automation
Automation and AI are applied where they suit the task. Where accuracy and accountability matter, deterministic systems do the work.
Continuous improvement
Products are refined as records, rules and requirements change. Anything that depends on a time period is versioned rather than quietly replaced.
Security & privacy
Handling information carefully
AyVex products handle information that matters to the people it belongs to. Security and privacy are treated as constraints on the design of a product rather than as a review carried out at the end of one.
