What this policy covers

This policy covers the AyVex Ltd corporate website only — the pages published at this domain.

It does not cover AyVex products, which process different information for different purposes under their own privacy policies. SLYP AI is a product of AyVex Ltd with its own website and its own privacy policy; see the SLYP AI website (opens in a new tab). That policy is separate from this one and is not reproduced here.

Information we collect

Through the website itself — none

There are no forms, no accounts, no sign-in, no newsletter and no comment facility on this site. There is nothing to submit, and we collect nothing about your visit.

If you email us

The email addresses on this site are ordinary mailto: links. Selecting one opens your own email application — it sends nothing to us, and we learn nothing unless you choose to send a message.

If you do email contact@ayvexltd.com, we receive whatever you choose to include: typically your name, your email address, and the content of your message. We use it to understand your enquiry, reply to it, and keep a record of the correspondence.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information, or information about other people, unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry.

Hosting and server logs

This website is published as a static deployment on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. A static deployment serves fixed files — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts and images — with no application server, no database and no code of ours running on the host. Firebase Hosting uses Google's global infrastructure, so a request may be processed outside the United Kingdom.

Serving a page necessarily means the host receives and handles that request, and Google processes technical and operational information, which may include IP addresses, in order to provide, secure and monitor Firebase Hosting. That processing is necessary to operate the hosting service rather than analytics added to the website. AyVex has not linked Hosting to Cloud Logging and does not use request data to build profiles of visitors.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website sets no cookies. It does not write to local storage or session storage, and it does not use any other technique to store information on, or read information from, your device.

The consent rules in regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations apply where a site stores information on, or gains access to information stored on, a user's device. This site does neither, so there is nothing to consent to — which is why you are not shown a cookie banner. Presenting a consent choice that does not exist would be misleading rather than helpful.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

There is no analytics on this website. No Google Analytics or equivalent, no advertising or conversion tracking, no marketing pixels, no session-replay software, no fingerprinting and no behavioural profiling of any kind.

Third-party content

This website loads no third-party resources. Typefaces and all other assets are served from this domain rather than from an external service, so simply reading these pages does not disclose your visit to any other organisation. There are no embedded videos, maps, fonts, social widgets or externally hosted scripts.

Why we process personal data, and our lawful basis

Where we do process personal data, we rely on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the UK GDPR:

Responding to your enquiry: Legitimate interests — Article 6(1)(f). Our legitimate interest is in reading, answering and keeping a record of correspondence sent to us. Where your enquiry concerns entering into a contract with us, we may instead rely on Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Keeping the website available and secure: Legitimate interests — Article 6(1)(f), in operating a functioning website and protecting it from misuse. This relates to the server logs described above.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. See your rights below.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. This website is hosted using Firebase Hosting, and correspondence sent to our published address is handled through Google Workspace; both act as processors on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

International transfers

Both of the services behind this website — hosting and email — are provided by organisations that operate international infrastructure. Personal data connected with them may therefore be processed outside the United Kingdom.

Firebase Hosting runs on Google's global infrastructure. Google may process service data in countries where Google or its subprocessors maintain facilities. Firebase Hosting is covered by Google's Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms, including its provisions for restricted international transfers.

Email sent to contact@ayvexltd.com is handled through Google Workspace. Under Google's applicable Workspace terms and Cloud Data Processing Addendum, Google acts as a processor of Customer Personal Data for the service and processes that data in accordance with the customer's instructions. Google operates international infrastructure, so correspondence may be processed outside the United Kingdom, subject to the safeguards in Google's applicable data-processing terms.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage any resulting business relationship, comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary. Information that is no longer required for those purposes will be deleted or otherwise securely disposed of.

We do not apply a single fixed retention period to all correspondence, because how long a message remains relevant depends on what it concerns. We review what we hold and remove material that no longer serves one of the purposes above.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. It holds no database and stores no personal data itself, which removes a large part of the risk by design. Correspondence is held in a mailbox protected by access controls appropriate to a company of this size. Our wider approach is described on our Security & Privacy page.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the following rights in relation to personal data we hold about you:

the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data

rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling — we carry out neither on this website

Not all of these rights apply in every situation; several are qualified and depend on the lawful basis we are relying on. To exercise any of them, email contact@ayvexltd.com. We will not charge you for making a request in normal circumstances, and we will respond within the statutory time limit of one month, which can be extended for complex requests. We may need to confirm your identity before we act.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at contact@ayvexltd.com so that we have the opportunity to put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (opens in a new tab) or on their helpline, 0303 123 1113. Complaining to us first does not affect your right to contact them.

ICO data protection fee

AYVEX LTD completed the ICO's Data Protection Fee Self-Assessment on 17 August 2026, selecting "Not started trading". The result was: "You don't need to pay a fee yet." The ICO's position is that companies which have not started trading do not have to pay the fee yet.

That is not a permanent exemption, and AYVEX LTD is not currently registered with the ICO. We will repeat the self-assessment when AyVex starts trading, pay the fee if one becomes due, and update this policy accordingly.

Links to other websites

This website links to sites operated by other organisations, including AyVex product websites. Once you follow such a link this policy stops applying and the privacy practices of that site govern instead. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Links that open in a new tab are marked as doing so.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if what the website does changes — for example if analytics, a contact form or an embedded third-party service were ever introduced. Any such change would be reflected here before or at the point it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page would be updated.
